unremitting
never-ending pain
drains my soul
dry.
As harsh sunshine in the desert
parches
the entire landscape,
so this constant anguish
desiccates my spirit.
Even in the wasteland,
gentle spring rains
bring the desert to life.
When
will my springtime
return?
